Michelle Carter, Who Texted Her Boyfriend To Kill Himself, Is Found Guilty

The Latest Texting suicide verdict to be announced Friday

The Latest Texting suicide verdict to be announced Friday

Carter had previously waived her right to a trial, and the verdict was given in a nonjury trial by MA judge Lawrence Moniz, who said Carter's actions were not just immoral but illegal, according to The New York Times.

Judge Moniz called that text from Carter reckless conduct on Friday morning.

The judge said instructing Roy to get back into the truck was willful and wanton behavior.

Carter broke down in tears at the Bristol Juvenile Court as the judge announced she'd caused the death of her then-boyfriend. After she knew that he'd passed away, Carter did not tell his family that he'd killed himself, nor did she call police.

The victim's aunt Rebecca Maki added that the Roy family is "pleased with the outcome". "And finally, she did not issue a simple additional instruction: Get out of the truck".

White House does not plan Ramadan event
George W Bush held an iftar dinner every year of his two terms, including just after the 9/11 terror attacks of September 2001. Trump started the holy month of Ramadan with a statement on May 26 - which focused mostly on terrorism .

WATCH: Carter sobbed as the verdict was handed down.

Prosecutors described Carter as an emotionally needy, deceptive manipulator who drove Roy to suicide to gain the validation she had long craved - to win the title of "grieving girlfriend". She also isn't allowed to leave the state. Her sentencing is set for August. When asked how she would describe what Carter did, Lynn was unable to find the words, saying, "I can not".

The sensational trial in Taunton offered a window into teen depression and suicide through text messages and Facebook communications.

Carter's lawyer says she tried to talk Roy out of suicide for months, but he was determined to kill himself. Roy died when his pickup truck filled with carbon monoxide in a store parking lot in Fairhaven, Conn.

During the trial, the judge heard extensive readings of text-message exchanges between Carter and Roy, both of whom struggled with emotional problems.

Seattle Hiked Its Minimum Wage, So Employers Cut Workers' Hours
The authors speculate that the work once done by entry-level, low earners is now done by more experienced, high-paid employees. On the plus side for workers, hourly wages are now up to $15 for employees in some businesses like the big fast-food chains.

When Conrad expressed uncertainty, she said she felt "played" and promised to help his family through his death.

Moniz said in court on Friday that he did not buy Breggin's testimony. As Roy's apparent plan to end his life took shape, Carter's texts became instructive.

The trial heard that Carter and Roy exchanged hundreds of text messages in which Carter urged him to follow through on his plan to kill himself, urged him to hide it from his parents, lie to his mother and select a secluded parking lot.

What do you think of Michelle Carter's conviction? You need to do it like you did last time and not think about it and just do it babe.

"You already made this decision, and if you don't do it tonight you're gonna be thinking about it all the time and stuff all the rest of your life and be miserable".
