Ubisoft is planning a new Splinter Cell game

Absent from their usual playlist, however, was Splinter Cell. From working with Nintendo on Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle to finally unveiling that gorgeous Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer, it was a year that highlighted the passion and dedication of Ubisoft developers. That potential has seemingly resulted in a preemptive move on the part of the Guillemot family, of which Ubisoft CEO and co-founder Yves Guillemot is a part.

Last year, archrival Google acquired an API management and predictive analytics Apegee for its Google Cloud Platform. Rumors about the software and tech giant acquiring the Israeli-based firm started pouring in in April.

During a Reddit AMA, Guillemot answered a question about Splinter cell stating that "Splinter Cell is a brand we talk about a lot".

A lot of Sam Fisher fans were disappointed at this year's E3 as Ubisoft did not reveal anything at all about a possible new Splinter Cell game. Apparently it is one of his favorite games too, but he didn't have any specifics to share about any upcoming game. It will certainly be quite some time before we see anything, but Guillemot has confirmed that a new Splinter Cell is on the Ubisoft to-do list.

Delhi University's first cut-off list admissions concluded
According to the admissions cell of the university, till 7 pm today, around 15,000 students were admitted in the first cut-off. The Delhi University on Friday declared the second cut-off list for admissions for 58,000 seats in Undergraduate programs.
