Anthony Scaramucci: Trump Should Have Been 'Much Harsher' On White Supremacists

Breitbart's war on McMaster bites Bannon

He said that if he was still working in the White House, he would not have recommended Trump make the statement he did.

"It's actually terrorism and whether it's domestic or worldwide terrorism, with the moral authority of the presidency, you have to call that stuff out", he said.

Scaramucci also weighed in on Trump's response to the violence that besieged Charlottesville, Va. on Saturday, telling Stephanopoulos that he would have pushed the President to use stronger words in condemning the neo-Nazis and other demonstrators.

"George, I didn't say I didn't do the wrong thing", Scaramucci said.

India drop Yuvraj for limited-overs games in Sri Lanka
India, who are now in Sri Lanka, have already sealed the Test series 2-0, with the third Test now being played. RohitSharma, who was rested for the West Indies series, returns and will be the vice-captain of the side.

In an appearance Saturday at his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey, Trump had vaguely faulted "many sides" for the violence - a phrase he then repeated.

"But you also got this sort of Bannon-bart influence in there, which I think is a snag on the president".

"It was going to be very hard for me to stay in the job, given the fact the Gen. Kelly took over and so I respect Gen. Kelly", he added to White House chief of staff John Kelly.

"I am ready to work with anybody who will help advance the president's agenda and advance the security, prosperity of the American people", McMaster said.

Global Stocks Punished By Geopolitics, US Inflation In Focus
Gold futures continued to rise Friday morning, ahead of inflation data and as tensions between North Korea and the US escalated. USA crude (CLc1) was unchanged at $48.59 per barrel and Brent (LCOc1) was last at $51.84, down 1.63 percent on the day.

The White House did not immediately comment on Scaramucci's suggestion about Bannon.

"He likes doing the opposite of what the media thinks he's going to do", he said. "I think you're seeing a direct line from what happened this weekend to those choices".

"He's not a racist but I think that there's no need to go in that direction when you have this phenomenal legislative agenda", Scaramucci said in a Facebook Live interview with ABC later Sunday morning.

Scaramucci said the president can't be told what to do, but said those around him should "give him direct advice" and "be blunt with him".

Beijing slams USA 'freedom of navigation' exercises in South China Sea
Washington is accusing China of taking an aggressive stance on the issue because of its island reclamation projects. The Department of Foreign Affairs did not comment further on the issue.

The New Yorker released portions of the phone call between its Washington correspondent, Ryan Lizza and former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci. I think at the end of the day; the president knows who the leakers are.
