Tom Cruise is known for performing his own stunts in movies, but the danger is completely real. The sixth installment in the "Mission: Impossible" franchise is now shooting in London. But one of the less complex stunts on the set of Mission: Impossible 6 appears to have not gone exactly as planned.

The actor was injured on set in London Sunday while filming a stunt for "Mission: Impossible 6", the latest flick in his blockbuster franchise, according to video obtained by TMZ. However, he landed short and crashed hard into the side of the building.

After Cruise pulled himself onto the roof, he briefly continued the scene by limping off camera, nearly looking like the fall short was a planned part of the stunt.

He then made his way back to the scaffolding he originally jumped from and could be seem walking away with the crew. He is then escorted away by crew members, still limping. The extent of his injuries are now unclear.

This mission wasn't quite possible for Tom Cruise. The extent of his injuries are still unknown. Plus, during Mission: Impossible II, the actor tore his shoulder while jumping across a cliff-face.

Tom is now on set in London and he was wearing a safety harness during the time of the accident.
