Since the Wall Street Journal first revealed an October 2016 payment to Stephanie Clifford, the story had subsiste

In a letter to Michael Cohen on Monday, actress Stephanie Clifford, who uses the stage name Stormy Daniels, offered to send $130,000 to an account designated by Trump to release her from a nondisclosure agreement she signed in October 2016.

Daniels went on to say that it was "horribly embarrassing" that the first person written on her three-person list was the best in bed of them all, and said the man reached out to her "twice a month".

Cohen claimed that Trump not only "vehemently denies" the affair but that he allegedly had no knowledge of the $130,000 payment made to Stormy.

In recent days, her attorney, Michael Avenatti, and Cohen traded public jabs over her right to right to speak.

Cohen declined to comment to CNN on Sunday, deferring questions to his own lawyer. The group claims it is an illegal campaign contribution because of the size and objective of the payment.

The letter also asked that the president's lawyers agree that neither Trump nor the shell company Cohen used to pay Clifford would attempt to block the broadcast of an interview Clifford taped with CBS News'"60 Minutes" program last week. Reportedly, the two were involved in a secretive tryst, but Trump did not want news of his sexual exploits to eclipse his chances at becoming the nation's next Commander in Chief.

He contended Daniels always meant to remain silent, until Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, began giving interviews and bringing the matter to public light.

The White House referred the matter to Trump's personal attorney for comment.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told a briefing last week that Trump had won an arbitration proceeding against Clifford.

A lawyer for Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, reportedly put in the request on Friday, claiming that because Judge Elizabeth Feffer of Los Angeles Superior Court is now seeking a federal appointment, it would not be appropriate for her to make a judgment in a case involving the president.

Clifford could be subjected to a $1 million penalty if she broke the nondisclosure agreement she signed. "The media and haters need to get over it", Clem told CNN.
