The site reports that Hader would be playing adult Richie while McAvoy would be adult Bill.

McAvoy will take on the character of Bill Denbrough, who is the unofficial leader of the group and eventually becomes a successful author.

Meanwhile, SNL alum Hader will play the character of Richie Tozier, the wisecracking kid who becomes a DJ as an adult. It is the highest-grossing horror film of all-time and starred Lieberher, Skarsgård, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Nicholas Hamilton. In the second movie, the female "Loser" finds herself in an abusive marriage.

Though I have to say, they're off to an incredible start with these first three choices and if the rest of them follow suit, then the second installment in the IT saga should more than match the scares of the first.

He adds that the children's presence in the next film will not be simply be fan service or nostalgia pieces, but a significant part in the storyline.
